Stephen Pia

FOUNDER AND SALES TRAINER & COACH

Stephen Pia founded COACH MEdia in 2000. He works with sales teams and individuals to strengthen their sales skills, develop an effective sales process, and enhance their communication and negotiation skills. In addition to training and consulting, he also provides customized coaching on both a scheduled and on-demand basis to help sales professionals enhance their skills and ability to achieve sales success.

 

Prior to founding COACH MEdia, Stephen spent 16 years in sales as both a sales professional and a sales leader, including 10 years at Ziff-Davis in numerous positions including Senior Vice President of Sales. Throughout his career, Stephen has excelled at selling, managing sales teams, creating sales organizations, and coaching sales professionals to higher levels of performance.

 

In addition to corporate training programs, Stephen is a frequent presenter at industry conferences and association meetings in a variety of industries. He consistently receives high scores from attendees, as measured by the conference organizers, on his delivery skills and session content, including recognition as the top-rated presenter at 4 conferences in the past 12 months.

Dan McGrath

VICE PRESIDENT, CLIENT DEVELOPMENT

Dan McGrath joined COACH MEdia in July 2008. In the role of Vice President, Client Development, Dan creates and implements skill development training and coaching programs that support a successful integrated sales strategy.

 

Prior to joining COACH MEdia, Dan spent 15 years in the media sales industry as both a sales professional and a sales leader. Dan joined COACH MEdia from Gartner, where he held roles of increasing responsibility including Vice President of Sales. Dan began his career at Ziff Davis and worked in numerous senior sales positions including Director of Sales. Throughout his career, Dan has excelled at selling, managing sales teams, recruiting sales teams and developing sales executives.

 

Dan has won numerous awards throughout his career for recruiting, training and developing new account executives. Dan possesses a strong track record in Sales Management and Performance Management. Dan received his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Rhode Island.
